WUXI – Curaçaoan tennis player Jean-Julien Rojer has won the doubles title at the Wuxi Open together with partner Theodore Winegar.

In the final, the duo defeated Ji Sung Nam and Patrik Niklas-Salminen in straight sets, 6-3 and 7-6.

Rojer and Winegar remained undefeated in sets throughout the entire tournament, highlighting their strong form in recent weeks.

The victory marks Rojer’s first tournament title of the 2026 season. Over the past two months, the pair has reached two finals and three semifinal appearances on the professional circuit.

For the veteran Curaçaoan doubles specialist, the win provides momentum heading into the European clay-court season and preparations for Roland Garros, one of tennis’ four Grand Slam tournaments.

Rojer has long been one of Curaçao’s most successful international athletes and remains an important figure in Caribbean tennis.
