The Government of Curaçao is urging all Curaçao residents currently in Panama to take precautions following a strong earthquake reported on Friday, October 9, 2026.
Curaçao residents who are currently abroad are encouraged to register online with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Information Service so authorities can provide important information in the event of an emergency.
Anyone facing an emergency in Panama can also contact the Kingdom of the Netherlands embassy via WhatsApp at +31 857 737 400.
