WILLEMSTAD – On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Ms. Farine Torres-Larmonie and Ms. Suzy Every-Ilario of Grant Thornton presented the new 2026 Tax Law Compendium to the Governor of Curaçao, His Excellency Mauritsz de Kort.
The publication contains a comprehensive collection of tax legislation from the Caribbean countries within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The compendium serves as a practical reference guide for professionals, students, and others who work with or wish to gain a better understanding of tax laws and regulations in the region.
During the visit, discussions focused on the importance of accessible and up-to-date tax information for maintaining a well-functioning financial and legal system. The participants also exchanged views on several current tax-related issues affecting Curaçao.
