WILLEMSTAD – Governor of Curaçao Mauritsz de Kort welcomed a delegation from the Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds (PWF) to the Government Palace on Thursday, August 6, 2026, as part of the foundation’s summer program for children.
The delegation consisted of 33 children and 10 supervisors participating in the PWF summer program.

De Kort, who also serves as patron of the Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds, personally welcomed the group and gave the children a tour of the Government Palace. Following the tour, they were treated to breakfast in the palace garden.
The visit was organized as the Governor’s contribution to the summer activities arranged by the PWF for the participating children.
After breakfast, the children were introduced to Saba, the Governor’s family dog, who is also affiliated with the PWF as a buddy dog.
The meeting with Saba generated considerable enthusiasm among the children, who were given an opportunity to spend time playing with her in the palace garden before concluding their visit.
