WILLEMSTAD – Governor of Curaçao Mauritsz de Kort received a delegation from the Children’s Museum Curaçao on Thursday, August 20, for discussions about the museum’s educational activities and its role in supporting the development of children on the island.

The delegation consisted of Executive Director Rohani de Pont, board member and treasurer Andrew Goijla, and board members Donna da Silva and Astrid Bödeker.

During the meeting, the delegation discussed the activities and broader social role of the Children’s Museum, including the development of educational programs aimed at children.

Attention was also given to the ways in which the museum seeks to stimulate curiosity, encourage talent development and provide young people with opportunities to learn through interactive experiences.

Governor De Kort and the delegation exchanged views on how children can be introduced to science, culture and the world around them in an accessible and inspiring way.

The Children’s Museum Curaçao focuses on learning through exploration and play, providing an environment where children can discover new interests and develop their creativity and curiosity.

The meeting formed part of Governor De Kort’s engagements with organizations and institutions involved in Curaçao’s social, cultural and educational development.
