Government to auction office furniture on May 7

WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Traffic, Transport and Urban Planning will hold a public auction of office furniture on Thursday, May 7, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m.

The auction will feature a variety of office items, including desks, office chairs, drawer units, filing cabinets, tables, cabinets, shelves, metal racks, computer monitors and other furniture.

Interested buyers will have the opportunity to inspect the items before the auction begins. Viewing will take place on the same day, May 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Bellisimaweg, at the former Department of Public Works (DWD) building.

The auction itself will run from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the same location.

The ministry noted that all items will be sold in their current condition.

Anyone wishing to participate must register on-site and present a valid identification document.

The auction will be conducted by a court bailiff, and all payments must be made by debit or card swipe.

After payment, buyers will receive proof of purchase, which will be required to collect their items at the end of the auction.
