WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Council of Ministers has approved the submission of the draft National Aviation Decree 2023 to the Governor for further processing and presentation to Parliament.
The government agreed with both the content of the report regarding the draft decree and the procedure to submit the proposal through the Governor to the Curaçao Parliament for consideration.
The National Aviation Decree is expected to provide an updated regulatory framework for the aviation sector.
The proposal forms part of efforts to strengthen aviation governance, improve regulatory standards and ensure that Curaçao’s aviation sector continues to comply with applicable requirements.
After submission through the Governor, Parliament will review and discuss the proposed legislation.
