WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao government has announced alternative contact options for residents seeking information about public transportation services while technical issues affecting the Ministry of Traffic, Transportation and Urban Planning's website continue to be resolved.
According to the Traffic and Transportation Service (UOVV), members of the public can obtain information related to public transportation by sending an email to tp.uovv@gobiernu.cw or by contacting the department via WhatsApp at +5999 527-8244.
The temporary measures were introduced because the website www.vvrp.cw is currently out of service, making several online services and digital resources inaccessible to the public.
Website Temporarily Unavailable
Officials explained that the outage has affected access to digital services normally provided through the Ministry of Traffic, Transportation and Urban Planning (VVRP) and the Traffic and Transportation Service (UOVV).
As a result, residents who need information regarding public transportation routes, permits, regulations, or other transportation-related matters are being encouraged to use the alternative communication channels until the website becomes operational again.
Authorities Working on Solution
VVRP and UOVV apologized for the inconvenience caused by the disruption and stated that efforts are underway to restore the website and related digital services as quickly as possible.
No timeline has yet been provided for when the website will return to full operation.
In the meantime, government officials say they remain available to assist the public through email and WhatsApp to ensure that transportation-related inquiries continue to be handled without interruption.
