WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Justice, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, Labor and Welfare (SOAW), is currently preparing the launch of a temporary registration and legalization program known as Rib’e Lugá.
According to the government, the initiative is still under development and aims to provide a temporary pathway for registration and legalization. The legal, operational and policy aspects of the program are currently being finalized in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
Officials say the preparatory phase of the project is already at an advanced stage. Further details about the requirements and the implementation of the program will be announced through official government channels once the information can be formally communicated.
The Ministry of Justice stressed that information circulating from other sources should not be considered official and that no rights or expectations can be derived from such reports.
Authorities also emphasized that there is currently no need for individuals to visit the Immigration and Naturalization Service to request additional information.
More details about the Rib’e Lugá program will be presented during a press conference scheduled for March 26, 2026. The briefing will be held jointly by the Minister of Justice, the Minister of SOAW and other partners involved in the initiative.
