WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao government plans to significantly expand recruitment across ministries after approving an updated public sector intake plan for 2025–2026.
The revised “instroomplanning” increases the number of vacancies that can be opened across government ministries from 312 positions to approximately 500.
The decision was taken by the Council of Ministers on March 11 based on advice from the acting Secretary-General of the Ministry of Governance, Planning and Public Service, as well as recommendations from the Director of the Financial Management and Budget Sector.
Officials say the expansion is intended to strengthen government capacity and improve public services across ministries.
