WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao government has approved a draft agreement with sports association Quick 60 for the management of the sports facility commonly known as the Quick 60 field.
The Council of Ministers approved the proposed management agreement during its meeting on Wednesday, September 23.
Under the agreement, the government and Quick 60 will establish arrangements governing the management of the sports facility.
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (OWCS) has been authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the Country of Curaçao.
A related draft National Decree will now be submitted to the Governor of Curaçao for signature.
The Cabinet announcement does not provide financial details of the agreement or specify the respective maintenance, investment and operational responsibilities that will fall to the government and Quick 60.
The decision is one of two involving the management of government sports facilities approved by the Council of Ministers during the same meeting.
