WILLEMSTAD – The government of Curaçao has announced that Ondine Curaçao B.V. has submitted an application for a permit to construct a breakwater and beach.
The request was filed under Article 20 and following provisions of the Landsverordening maritiem beheer.
According to the announcement issued by the Ministry of Traffic, Transport and Urban Planning of Curaçao, the permit application will be available for public inspection for ten working days following the publication of the notice.
Interested parties can review the documents at the ministry’s office located at Seru Ararat Perceel C. Appointments for inspection can be arranged by contacting the ministry by telephone.
During the review period, stakeholders may submit their views or comments regarding the application. These submissions are not legally required and do not form part of the formal permit procedure but are intended to allow interested parties to express their opinions before a final decision is made.
Comments can be submitted by email or letter to the sector director for Traffic and Transport at the ministry.
The government stated that the consultation period is intended to ensure transparency and provide an opportunity for public input during the preparation of the decision on the permit request.
