Gasoline and Diesel Prices to Increase in Curaçao on November 3, Cooking Gas Prices Remain Unchanged

Main News, Local, | By Correspondent October 30, 2026

WILLEMSTAD – Motorists in Curaçao will face higher fuel prices starting Tuesday, November 3, 2026, as new tariffs for gasoline and diesel take effect. Gasoline will increase by 8 cents per liter, while diesel will become 15 cents more expensive per liter.

Under the new pricing structure, gasoline will rise from XCG 2.72 to XCG 2.80 per liter, representing an increase of approximately 2.9 percent.

Diesel, locally known as gasoil, will increase from XCG 2.81 to XCG 2.96 per liter, an increase of approximately 5.3 percent.

The adjustment means that motorists filling a 50-liter gasoline tank will pay XCG 140, compared with XCG 136 under the current tariff. This represents an additional XCG 4 per full tank.

For diesel vehicles, a 50-liter fill-up will cost XCG 148 instead of XCG 140.50, an increase of XCG 7.50.

The higher diesel price could also affect businesses that depend heavily on transportation, including delivery services and commercial vehicle operators.

While motorists will face higher costs, the prices of household cooking gas cylinders will remain unchanged.

A large cooking gas cylinder will continue to cost XCG 80, while the smaller cylinder will remain priced at XCG 16.
