WILLEMSTAD – Tour operator FBTT Travel, known through Taber Tours and Atlantis Tours, says several of its buses were heavily damaged during an overnight act of vandalism at the company’s office in Seru Mahuma.
According to the company, employees arriving at the office on Wednesday morning discovered that five buses had been intentionally damaged and obstructed by unknown individuals.

FBTT Travel stated that the destruction was extensive, with broken windows, windshields, mirrors, and other essential vehicle components.
The company emphasized that the buses play a critical role in transporting both tourists and local passengers across Curaçao.
Despite the damage, the company stressed that its operations and scheduled services will continue as planned.
According to FBTT Travel, security camera footage shows four individuals involved in the incident. The footage has already been handed over to authorities as part of the investigation.
The company described the situation as deeply painful, noting that it has long been committed to promoting Curaçao’s tourism industry and connecting visitors with destinations across the island.
Police and members of CRS reportedly visited the scene shortly after the incident was discovered to assess the damage and collect evidence.
FBTT Travel expressed appreciation for the rapid response from law enforcement and stated it hopes those responsible will be identified and held accountable.
The vandalism comes amid growing concern over recent incidents involving damage to vehicles and property at business locations on the island. Authorities have not yet announced whether arrests have been made or if there is a known motive behind the attack.
