WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao’s Ministry of Finance of Curaçao has reopened its doors to the public at a new location, moving its operations to the heart of downtown Willemstad as part of efforts to continue public services from a more centrally located office.
Starting Monday, May 4, members of the public seeking services from the ministry are now being received at its new offices at Ruyterkade 10.
The relocation marks the end of the ministry’s operations at its former office on Astroïdenweg 1-5, where it had been operating from the building of Stichting Overheidsaccountantsbureau (SOAB).
According to the ministry, the move is intended to ensure the continuity of services while operating from a new, more accessible and centrally positioned location.
Officials are urging visitors who need to arrange tax, financial or administrative matters with the ministry to report directly to the new Ruyterkade address to avoid inconvenience.
The relocation places the ministry in one of Willemstad’s main administrative and commercial corridors, potentially making access easier for both businesses and residents.
The Ministry of Finance plays a key role in managing government revenues, tax administration and public financial policy, making the reopening of its public-facing offices an important step for daily government operations.
