WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao women’s national football team closed its CONCACAF Women Qualifiers campaign with a 2-1 victory over St. Kitts & Nevis, securing a positive finish to the international series.
Playing away from home, Curaçao took the lead in the second half when Shi-Jona Martina found the net in the 58th minute. The match remained tightly contested until the final moments, when Amazia Burnet sealed the win with a decisive goal in stoppage time, scoring in the 91st minute.

The victory marks a strong recovery for the team, which had previously suffered a heavy defeat against Aruba earlier in the qualifiers. The win not only improves Curaçao’s final standing in the competition but also provides renewed confidence heading into future international fixtures.
