WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao’s Under-20 national football team recorded an emphatic victory on Thursday evening in the Concacaf qualification tournament, defeating St. Vincent and the Grenadines 6–0 at the Rignaal Jean Francisca Stadion.
From the opening whistle, Curaçao made clear its intention to dominate the match, controlling possession and steadily increasing the scoreline. The convincing win follows an earlier 3–2 victory over Guyana earlier this week and places the team in a strong position in the group stage.

Curaçao has been drawn into a challenging group that includes Guyana, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Anguilla and Haiti. Under the tournament format, only the group winner advances to the next round of the CONCACAF qualification competition.
With two wins from two matches, Curaçao has made an excellent start and is firmly in contention for top spot in the group. The coming fixtures will be decisive as the team looks to secure qualification for the next phase of the tournament.
