WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Traffic, Transport and Urban Planning (VVRP) has published its latest overview of building permit activity in Curaçao, reporting 17 applications and six permits granted during week 35 of 2026.

The publication provides residents with information about proposed construction and renovations and allows interested parties to file objections against building permits within the legally established period.

Among the applications listed is a request to expand a home at Stenen Koraal, while another application concerns the construction of a new residence on a lot at Grote Berg.

At Jupiterstraat 4A in Klein Davelaar, an application has been submitted to renovate a four-apartment building, including two residential units and a storage area.

Another application concerns the expansion of a residence at Matancia, including construction of a carport, storage area and swimming pool.

At Kaya David 8 in Abrahamsz, permission has been requested for modifications to an existing residential building permit.

The ministry also lists an application for the construction of three homes along Lawaweg in Buena Vista. A separate application concerns construction of a residence at Barber H 11, while another involves building a boundary wall at Nightingaleweg 22.

The dates on which the listed permits or applications became available for collection range from August 26 to August 28.

According to VVRP, anyone considered an interested party may file an objection against a building permit. The objection period is six weeks and begins on the day following the date on which the permit can be collected.

The weekly publication is part of VVRP's efforts to provide public information about building and development activity across Curaçao.
