WILLEMSTAD – UO Reclassering Curaçao (Probation Service) has launched a new campaign called “Di bishita serka nos” aimed at strengthening cooperation with partners throughout the judicial system and the wider Curaçao community to improve rehabilitation efforts and help combat crime.
The campaign is designed to bring different organizations together to exchange ideas, share knowledge and strengthen professional relationships. According to the Probation Service, closer cooperation between organizations can contribute to a more effective process for reintegrating people into society.
As part of the campaign, members of the neighborhood policing teams of the Curaçao Police Force (KPC) visited UO Reclassering Curaçao this week.
During the meeting, representatives of both organizations shared knowledge and exchanged ideas about their respective work. Discussions also focused on ways in which the Probation Service and police can strengthen their cooperation to contribute to crime prevention and public safety.
The Probation Service described the meeting as successful and an important step toward building stronger working relationships with organizations involved in rehabilitation and combating crime.
Through “Di bishita serka nos,” UO Reclassering Curaçao intends to continue engaging with partners both within and outside the judicial chain.
The organization believes that greater coordination and knowledge-sharing among the different agencies and community partners can strengthen rehabilitation efforts while contributing to the broader fight against crime in Curaçao.
