GLASGOW – The Federashon Futbòl Kòrsou (FFK) has released the official training and media schedule for Curaçao’s preparations leading up to the international friendly match against Scotland national football team on May 30 at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
According to a statement issued by the football federation, the Curaçao national team will begin its training camp on May 25 in Noordwijk, where several training sessions will be open to both the public and the media.
An official media day is scheduled for May 28 at Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin. During that event, head coach Dick Advocaat and multiple players will be available for interviews with local and international press.
The team will also organize a football clinic and meet-and-greet event in Rotterdam on May 27 as part of its outreach activities ahead of the World Cup preparations.
FFK further confirmed that sports journalist Vincent Schildkamp will assist with media coordination surrounding the Curaçao national team during this period.
Schildkamp was recently added to Curaçao’s World Cup organizational and communications structure following the departure of longtime press officer Kees Jansma.
The friendly match against Scotland forms part of Curaçao’s preparation for its historic first participation in the FIFA World Cup later this year.
After the Scotland match, Curaçao will return home for a farewell match against Aruba on June 6 at the Ergilio Hato Stadium before departing for the tournament in the United States.
Curaçao will face Germany, Ecuador, and Ivory Coast during the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
