According to the jury, the duo’s score makes a significant contribution to the film, combining a calm and percussive style with moments of piano. The music was praised for its strong connection to the film’s poetic character and its ability to convey deep emotions, including pain.

The jury described the composition as adventurous, original, and experimental, highlighting in particular the integration of live instruments and the seamless interaction between music and sound design.

The short film was directed by Guido F.G. Jeurissen and produced by Arjen van Doezelaar of Rauwkost Film. It is based on a poetry collection by Gershwin Bonevacia, who also provides the voice-over in the film.

The Music in Media Awards are being held for the tenth time this year, celebrating the role of music in enhancing storytelling across different media formats.
