WILLEMSTAD – The Council of Ministers has approved the content and submission of a draft national decree to establish the “Uitvoeringsorganisatie Justitiële Zorg” (Justice Care Implementation Organization).
The proposal, submitted by the Ministry of Justice, concerns the implementation of specific parts of the National Ordinance on Administrative Organization.
The draft decree, titled “Landsbesluit instelling Uitvoeringsorganisatie Justitiële Zorg,” will now be forwarded to the Governor of Curaçao for ratification.
The creation of the new implementation organization forms part of efforts to strengthen the administrative structure within the justice sector.
The government did not provide further details on the exact responsibilities, structure or timeline for the establishment of the organization.
The Council of Ministers agreed with the content and presentation of the report and the draft decree, allowing the next procedural step toward formal approval to proceed.
