WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) has launched a humanitarian donation campaign to support communities affected by the recent devastating earthquake in Venezuela.
The hospital announced that its staff are actively collecting relief supplies for those impacted by the disaster and is inviting the public to participate in the effort.
Patients and visitors who come to CMC for medical appointments are also encouraged to bring donations and leave them at the designated collection point within the hospital.
According to CMC, the donation drive is aimed at providing much-needed assistance to families in the affected areas. Contributors are asked to consult the hospital's list of requested supplies for information on the items that are most urgently needed.
The initiative forms part of the growing humanitarian response from Curaçao following the earthquake, with several organizations and institutions on the island organizing relief efforts for neighboring Venezuela.
CMC emphasized that every contribution, regardless of its size, can make a meaningful difference for those affected by the disaster.
The hospital thanked the community in advance for its solidarity and support during this time of need.
