Curaçao Invests Nearly €2 Million in Reform Projects During 2025

THE HAGUE – Approximately €1.9 million was spent on Landspakket-related reform projects in Curaçao during 2025, according to figures published in the Temporary Work Organization (TWO) annual report.

The largest investments were made in education, economic reforms and financial management.

Around €600,000 was allocated to educational reforms, including improvements to school financing systems and education statistics. Another €600,000 supported economic reforms, including development plans for the informal economy and the creation of a real estate management department within the government.

A further €400,000 was spent on strengthening financial management, including reviews of procurement and subsidy processes.

The figures underline the continued focus on modernizing public administration and creating conditions for long-term economic growth.
