WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Administration, Planning and Services (BPD) has announced that Curaçao’s Digital Service Portal (Digitaal Loket) is temporarily unavailable due to technical problems, preventing residents from accessing government services online.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, October 21, the ministry confirmed that its digital services are currently inaccessible. The government has not specified the nature of the technical difficulties or indicated when the system is expected to be restored.
Residents who need government services are being advised to visit one of the ministry’s physical service locations or contact the department by telephone or WhatsApp for information and appointments.
The Permits Office (Vergunningenloket), located at Saliña 127 in the Eurobuilding, remains available to assist the public. Residents can also visit the Community Service Center (Lokèt di Komunidat) at Sambil Shopping Mall, Unit L-21.
Both locations operate from Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. On Fridays, services are available from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
Residents can contact the ministry by telephone at 433-3123 or through WhatsApp at 433-3127 to request appointments or obtain information about government products and services.
The temporary disruption means that individuals who normally rely on the online portal must use alternative channels until the technical problems are resolved.
The ministry apologized for the inconvenience and asked the public for understanding while efforts are made to restore the digital platform.
Officials said a further announcement will be issued as soon as online government services become available again.
For now, residents requiring assistance are encouraged to use the available service counters or contact the ministry directly rather than relying on the temporarily unavailable digital portal.
