Curaçao Government Receives First Report on Collective Sector Finances for 2024

WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Council of Ministers has taken note of the first report on the financial performance of the island’s collective sector for 2024, prepared by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).

The report, titled “Eerste rapportage collectieve sector van Curaçao 2024,” was submitted through a letter from the director of CBS to the government.

The collective sector includes government entities and organizations that are part of the broader public sector. The report provides insight into the financial developments and performance of these entities.

The Council of Ministers did not announce further details about the findings of the report but confirmed that the document has been officially reviewed.

The publication of the report forms part of ongoing efforts to improve transparency, financial monitoring and accountability within Curaçao’s public sector.
