WILLEMSTAD – The Council of Ministers has approved the creation of a new Central Digitalization Working Group tasked with overseeing government-wide IT projects and digital transformation efforts.
According to the government, the new working group will evaluate IT-related proposals, projects and initiatives across the public sector to ensure they align with the principles outlined in the national plan for the Directorate of Information Management and Digitalization.
The proposal will now be submitted to Governor Mauritsz de Kort for formal signing through a national decree.
The initiative forms part of broader efforts to modernize Curaçao’s government administration and improve digital public services.
