WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao government has officially confirmed that Aerolíneas Argentinas will begin connecting Argentina with Curaçao in January 2027, confirming information published by Curaçao Chronicle yesterday about the new air connection.

The confirmation came from the Ministry of Economic Development and the Curaçao Tourist Board, which welcomed the arrival of the Argentine carrier and highlighted the significance of the new connection for the island.

“Starting in January 2027, Argentina and Curaçao will be closer,” the government announced. “It is with great satisfaction that we welcome Aerolíneas Argentinas, which will connect Argentina with our island starting in January 2027.”

The announcement confirms Curaçao Chronicle’s report that the Argentine flag carrier is preparing to add Curaçao to its network, further strengthening the island’s air connectivity with South America.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development and the Curaçao Tourist Board, the new route will bring the people of Argentina and Curaçao closer together while creating additional opportunities for tourism, exchange and economic development.

Argentina represents an important potential growth market for Curaçao’s tourism industry. A direct air connection could make the island considerably more accessible to Argentine travelers while also providing Curaçao residents with another direct connection to South America.

The government welcomed Argentine visitors with the message: “Argentina, Curaçao awaits you with open arms.”

Further operational details, including the exact launch date, flight frequency and schedule, were not included in the government’s confirmation.
