One month, one message, gamble responsibly
WILLEMSTAD – Worldwide, several gaming jurisdictions dedicate one month each year to promoting Responsible Gaming and raising awareness about player protection. This year, Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) is joining this global endeavor with renewed energy and a clear message for the public, reaffirming its commitment to fostering a transparent, and responsible gaming environment in Curaçao.
To mark this important month, CGA will officially launch its new public awareness slogan: “Gambling can be addictive. Do it responsibly.”
This message will be at the heart of all campaign materials throughout March and will continue to serve as a strong and visible reminder to the public beyond Responsible Gaming Month.
Responsible Gaming Month is an important moment to remind the public that gambling should always be done in a balanced manner to minimize potential harm.
Throughout March, CGA will share clear and practical information through social media and traditional media platforms. Topics will include:
● Knowing your limits
● Gambling responsibly
● Recognizing when gambling becomes a problem
● Where to find help if needed
CGA encourages players, operators, families, and community members to follow and share the information that will be published during the month.
Gambling should be seen as entertainment and always be fair and responsible. By increasing awareness, CGA continues to work toward a healthy gaming environment in Curaçao.
