Curaçao Extends Monthly ANG 100 Support Payments for Pensioners and Welfare Recipients

Local, Politics, | By Correspondent August 4, 2026

WILLEMSTAD – The Pisas III Cabinet has decided to extend the monthly ANG 100 financial assistance program for pensioners who rely solely on the General Old Age Pension (AOV) and for residents receiving social welfare benefits. The support will continue for a maximum of three additional months.

Finance Minister Charles Cooper said the Ministry of Finance has made the necessary funds available to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries receive their payments.

Recipients who have not received their payment, or who are missing one month's assistance, are urged to contact the appropriate government agency. Welfare recipients should reach out to the Ministry of Social Development, Labor and Welfare (SOAW), while pensioners are advised to contact the Social Insurance Bank (SVB) to have their individual cases reviewed.

Cooper also encouraged anyone with questions about the ANG 100 support program to call 724-5300 or send an email to sosten@soaw.cw.

The next payment is scheduled to be made on August 5.

The temporary assistance program was introduced to help vulnerable residents cope with the rising cost of living. By extending the measure, the government aims to continue providing financial relief to pensioners and low-income households while broader economic conditions remain challenging.
