WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao’s opportunities to access European funding for investments in digitalization, water treatment and social services were discussed during a meeting between Raoul Boucke and Acting Governor Ruthsella Jansen.
Boucke paid an introductory visit to the Acting Governor on Monday, October 5.

Boucke is a department head at the Netherlands Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and serves as the Netherlands’ Permanent Representative to the European Union in Brussels.
During the meeting, Boucke and Jansen discussed various European funds that Curaçao could potentially access to support investments in several areas.
Among the sectors specifically discussed were digitalization, water treatment and social services.
The meeting focused on the possibilities available to Curaçao through European funding mechanisms and how these resources could contribute to investments on the island.
