WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao’s national football team has completed its training camp preparations ahead of its upcoming match against Scotland, with head coach Dick Advocaat expressing satisfaction with the team’s progress during the week-long program.

The final training session took place Thursday afternoon at the SJC Noordwijk sports complex on Lageweg 6 in the Netherlands, where the national squad has been holding its preparations.

According to the coaching staff, the sessions focused on fine-tuning tactics and building match readiness ahead of the international fixture.

Advocaat said he was pleased with the outcome of the training camp and the work put in by the players during the past week.

Wednesday’s session was partially open to the public, giving supporters the opportunity to watch the team train and interact with the players afterward.

Fans were able to enter the field following the session to collect autographs and take photographs with members of the national squad.

After spending time with supporters, the players returned to their hotel to continue preparations for the trip to Scotland.

The Curaçao delegation is scheduled to travel to Scotland on Friday morning. Upon arrival, the team will participate in a press conference at 3:00 p.m., followed by an official training session at 4:00 p.m. as preparations enter their final stage ahead of the match.

The game against Scotland forms part of Curaçao’s ongoing international campaign and provides another opportunity for the Blue Wave to test itself against European opposition under the leadership of the experienced Dutch coach.
