CANBERRA – The Curaçao national team has completed its final training session ahead of its upcoming match against China in the FIFA Series 2026.

The session took place at the training facilities of the Western Sydney Wanderers, located near Sydney’s Olympic Park. Head coach Fred Rutten kept the training relatively light, using the opportunity to finalize his starting lineup.

According to the coaching staff, the squad is both physically and mentally prepared for the match scheduled for early Friday morning. However, the team is not yet at full strength.

Several players, including Armando Obispo, Deveron Fonville, and Jürgen Locadia, have not yet joined the squad due to injuries and personal circumstances.

The match against China will be played at Accor Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 2:00 a.m. Curaçao time.

The fixture forms part of Curaçao’s preparations for upcoming international competitions, as the team continues to build momentum under its new coaching leadership.
