WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Baseball Federation (CBF) is preparing to close the CNC AA regular season with several days of baseball and entertainment at Tio Daou Ballpark before the championship semifinals get underway next weekend.
The federation announced that the final stretch of the regular season will combine baseball with live entertainment. On Sunday, August 16, Grupo Sorpresa will perform at Tio Daou Ballpark starting at 6:00 p.m., adding live music to the evening's baseball activities.
The final game of the CNC AA regular season is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18. Attention will then turn to the playoffs, which begin Saturday, August 22.
The first semifinal will feature Santa Maria Pirates against Santa Rosa Indians, while the second series will see Royal Scorpions take on Wildcats.
Both semifinal series will be played in a best-of-seven format. The first team to win four games will advance to the championship final.
CBF is inviting baseball fans and the wider community to attend the final regular-season activities and upcoming playoffs at Tio Daou Ballpark.
The federation hopes to close the regular season on a high note with competitive baseball, music and a festive atmosphere before the four remaining teams begin their battle for a place in the CNC AA final.
