THE HAGUE – Modernization of Curaçao’s welfare legislation and stronger supervision of social insurance programs were among the key achievements recorded under the Landspakket in 2025.
The Temporary Work Organization (TWO) annual report lists welfare reform as one of the most significant accomplishments in the area of labor and social security.
The reforms are intended to create a more modern and sustainable social support system while improving oversight and enforcement within the social insurance framework.
The measures form part of a broader effort to strengthen social protection while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of government services.
