WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao has secured a place in the next round of the Legends Football Tournament after an impressive performance on the opening day of the competition.
Playing in front of a packed crowd at Capital Ç Stadium, the Curaçao team delivered one of the standout performances of the evening. The team defeated the Netherlands 5-2 and held Spain to a 2-2 draw, followed by a high-scoring 3-3 match against Brazil. The results were enough to guarantee progression to the next stage of the tournament.
The event drew large numbers of spectators, with fans turning out to watch former international stars from multiple countries compete. Other teams, including Argentina and Brazil, also recorded wins in their opening matches, contributing to an evening filled with high-scoring and entertaining games.
