WILLEMSTAD – The Joint Court of Justice says it wants to significantly increase the number of published court rulings and has begun automating the publication process within its digital systems.
According to the Court’s Annual Report 2025, work was carried out in collaboration with the Court’s quality committee to modernize how judgments are published on the Dutch judicial platform Rechtspraak.nl.
The Court says publication procedures are now being integrated directly into the GEAR case management system, automating various administrative steps that previously had to be handled manually.
The judiciary also reviewed internal guidelines determining which rulings should be published and how publication decisions are made.
The Court says the changes are intended to improve transparency and public accessibility within the judicial system.
