WILLEMSTAD – On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, the Council of Ministers welcomed Spanish influencer Emilio Fernández to personally thank him for his exceptional dedication and the positive attention he has brought to Curaçao.
During the 2026 World Cup, Emilio Fernández captured the attention of thousands of Spanish and international followers with his enthusiastic and authentic stories about Curaçao. On his own initiative, he called himself the “popular ambassador of Curaçao in Spain” and contributed positively to the international visibility of our island and the Curaçao national soccer team.
During the meeting with Prime Minister Pisas and the Council of Ministers they discussed not only his experiences with Curaçao but, of course, their shared passion for soccer. All ministers present also expressed their appreciation.
Thanks to CINEX’s actions, Emilio was also able to fulfill a long-cherished wish: a visit to Curaçao and a personal meeting with Prime Minister Pisas and the Council of Ministers.
