WILLEMSTAD – The Council of Ministers welcomed Miss Mini Universo 2026, Aaliyah Kenna, during a special visit on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Kenna represented Curaçao at the Mini Universo 2026 competition held in Cartagena, Colombia.
Aaliyah competed in the Little Mini Universo 2026 category, where she captured the title. She also received the award for “Most Photogenic.”
The achievement represents the result of Aaliyah’s dedication and the efforts of the MBA Empowerment team. According to the Council of Ministers, her performance demonstrates that even at a young age she is capable of connecting with audiences, cameras and judges at a high level, ultimately earning the top prize.
The government expressed its pride in Aaliyah’s accomplishment and congratulated her, MBA Empowerment, her parents and everyone who contributed to her success.
The Council of Ministers highlighted that Aaliyah’s achievement places Curaçao in a positive spotlight internationally and serves as an example of the island’s young talent.
During the visit, Aaliyah Kenna, her parents and a representative of MBA Empowerment were photographed together with Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas and the other members of the Council of Ministers.
