WILLEMSTAD – Travel company Corendon says it is prepared to launch additional flights to the United States if Curaçao qualifies for the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup.

According to a statement from a Corendon spokesperson, the company has scheduled six extra flights to Dallas for June 30, contingent on Curaçao defeating Ivory Coast in Thursday's decisive group-stage match.

The additional flights will only operate if the Blue Wave secures a place in the next round of the tournament.

Corendon said the special travel packages will include both round-trip airfare and a match ticket, giving supporters the opportunity to follow the national team should it continue its historic World Cup campaign.

The announcement reflects growing excitement surrounding Curaçao's remarkable performance at its first-ever FIFA World Cup. Following an impressive draw against Ecuador, the national team enters its final group match against Ivory Coast with a chance to advance to the Round of 16.

If Curaçao qualifies, it would mark one of the greatest achievements in the island's sporting history and is expected to generate significant demand from fans eager to support the team in person.

By preparing additional charter flights in advance, Corendon hopes to give supporters the opportunity to travel to Dallas at short notice and be part of what could become another historic chapter for Curaçao football.
