ORANJESTAD – Corendon, in cooperation with Ambassador Cruise Line, will offer passengers the opportunity to embark in Aruba on a 14-day Caribbean cruise aboard the Renaissance this December, responding to what the company describes as strong demand for cruise departures from the island.
The Renaissance is scheduled to arrive in Aruba on December 3, 2026, where passengers will be able to board for a journey through several destinations in the eastern Caribbean.
The itinerary includes stops in Saint Lucia, Barbados, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Tortola, Sint Maarten, Antigua and Barbuda, and Bonaire before the cruise concludes in Curaçao on December 16.
All passengers will disembark in Curaçao. Travelers who need to return to Aruba afterward will have to arrange their own flight from Curaçao. According to Corendon, this can be arranged through a travel agency in Aruba or through Corendon Travel Agency in Curaçao.
Corendon founder Atilay Uslu described the itinerary as an opportunity to combine the comfort of a cruise with visits to a wide variety of Caribbean destinations.
“The comfort of a beautiful and majestic cruise ship, the personal atmosphere on board and the carefully selected itineraries make this a truly different kind of journey,” Uslu said.
Dutch- and English-speaking Corendon representatives will also travel aboard the ship throughout the cruise to assist passengers and answer questions.
The Renaissance accommodates approximately 1,200 passengers. The vessel was originally built in 1993 as the Maasdam for Holland America Line and underwent a major renovation in 2023.
The ship now sails under the Ambassador Group, which includes Ambassador Cruise Line and Compagnie Française de Croisières.
Curaçao will also play a significant role in the Renaissance’s Caribbean operations during the upcoming winter season. According to Corendon, the ship will operate a series of cruises departing from Curaçao, with itineraries ranging from eight to 15 days.
