WILLEMSTAD – Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas, together with Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Sithree “Cey” van Heydoorn, Minister of Traffic, Transportation and Spatial Planning Charles Cooper, and Minister of Economic Development Roderick Middelhof, recently held a constructive meeting with the leadership of Liberty Global.
The Liberty Global delegation included Inge Smid, CEO of Liberty Caribbean; Waldo Hooker, Vice President and General Manager for the Southern Caribbean; Sandy Marina, Sales Manager Curaçao; Ruchi Kaushal, General Counsel for Liberty Caribbean; Giolina Daal, Senior Manager Legal & Regulatory at Flow; and Clarissa Filiciana-Alberg, Manager of Marketing and Communications.

During the meeting, representatives of Liberty Global and Flow provided a comprehensive overview of their current and future investments, projects, and developments in Curaçao. The discussions offered an opportunity for an open exchange of information on various topics of mutual interest related to the island’s development.
Government officials used the occasion to ask questions and discuss opportunities to further support progress, innovation, and economic growth in Curaçao. Topics included the company's ongoing activities and potential areas of collaboration that could contribute to the island’s continued development.
According to the government, the meeting took place in a positive atmosphere characterized by mutual respect, constructive dialogue, and a shared commitment to advancing opportunities for Curaçao.
