Local, | By Press release October 5, 2026

WILLEMSTAD – The Community Service Center (Lokèt di Komunidat) at Sambil celebrated its second anniversary on Friday, October 2, marking two years of bringing a range of government services closer to the public in one location.

The center, which falls under the Ministry of Governance, Planning and Public Service, opened its doors two years ago with the goal of making government services more accessible to the community.

According to the ministry, the center has demonstrated both its value and necessity over the past two years by allowing residents to access various government products and services at a convenient location.

Services available at the Community Service Center include applications for Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG), business establishment permits, hospitality permits, school transportation, permits for fixed vending locations and mobile vending, as well as requests submitted under Curaçao's Transparency Act (LOB).

The government said the center works together with various partners and government departments to provide accessible and efficient public services.

In marking the anniversary, the ministry thanked the community, customers, employees and partner organizations for their support and trust over the past two years, saying their involvement has helped the center continue to grow and improve its services.

Residents who want to use the services offered at the Community Service Center can make an appointment through the government's online appointment system.
