WILLEMSTAD – The Commander of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (KMar), Lieutenant General Annelore Roelofs, paid an introductory visit to the Governor of Curaçao on Friday, March 20, 2026.
Also present during the meeting was Brigadier General Jos Pieters, Commander of the National Tactical Command of the KMar.
During the visit, Roelofs briefed the Governor on the Marechaussee’s activities in the Caribbean region and provided an update on recent developments within the organization.
The meeting formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and maintain close coordination between security institutions within the Kingdom.
