WILLEMSTAD – The CliniClowns Fun(d)raising Dinner scheduled for October 17 will not take place as planned. Organizers have decided to postpone the fundraising event until May 2027.
A new date has not yet been determined. CliniClowns is currently coordinating with Hato Caves and the other partners involved in the event. The organization said the new date will be announced once arrangements have been finalized.
People who have already purchased tickets, as well as sponsors who have committed financial support, will have two options. They can request a full refund or keep their ticket or sponsorship in place for the rescheduled event in May.
According to the organization, the postponement will also provide additional time to further develop the dinner and create a special experience for guests.
Preparations will continue together with chef Robin Housen, the entertainment team, Hato Caves and the event’s beverage partners.
The Fun(d)raising Dinner was set to return this year after a seven-year absence. The last edition was held in 2019.
Previous editions became an important source of funding for CliniClowns and its activities. The organization uses specially trained clowns to bring distraction, interaction and moments of joy to people receiving care.
With the return of the fundraising dinner, the foundation aims not only to raise money to support its activities but also to increase public awareness of the work performed by CliniClowns in the healthcare sector.
Those plans will now move to May 2027, with the exact date to be announced later.
