WILLEMSTAD – Cleaning work along Emancipatie Boulevard Dominico F. “Don” Martina, commonly known as Nieuwe Haven, has been postponed and will now begin on October 14, the Curaçao government announced.
The work was originally scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 30, but the Public Works Service (OW) said unforeseen circumstances have made it necessary to delay the project by approximately two weeks.
The government did not provide further details about the circumstances that caused the postponement or indicate whether the delay will affect the expected duration of the work.
Public Works apologized to motorists and other road users for any inconvenience caused by the change in schedule.
The cleaning operation along the busy Emancipatie Boulevard is now expected to begin on Wednesday, October 14.
