WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Investment and Export Promotion Agency (CINEX) will relocate later this year to the historic Villa Maria, marking the first phase of the Curaçao Innovation Hub, an initiative designed to bring together culture, technology, and entrepreneurship.
As part of the move, CINEX plans to launch a rotating art exhibition program beginning in October 2026, showcasing works by artists from Curaçao. The organization has issued an open call inviting local artists to submit their work for consideration.
Selected artworks will remain on display for an entire exhibition season, providing artists with exposure to entrepreneurs, investors, and international delegations visiting CINEX at its new headquarters.
Artists interested in participating can apply through an online registration form. CINEX will contact applicants regarding the selection process and any additional requirements. The first exhibition is scheduled to open in October.
The organization has not yet disclosed how many artists will be selected, what criteria will be used in the selection process, or whether participating artists will receive financial compensation. It has also not indicated whether the exhibited artworks will be available for purchase.
