WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Investment & Export Promotion Agency (CINEX) hosted an Investment Tour for a delegation of Caribbean ministers who were on the island for the Caribbean United in Excellence Summit, highlighting Curaçao’s development in telecommunications, infrastructure, utilities and tourism.

The tour was organized to give the visiting ministers a firsthand look at areas where Curaçao is expanding its economy and positioning itself as a regional hub for innovation and investment.

The delegation visited BlueNAP, utility company Aqualectra, the Pyrmont development and Marshe Rondó.

At each location, representatives provided presentations on their operations, ongoing developments and innovations, as well as the role their organizations play in strengthening Curaçao’s economy and its position within the Caribbean.

The visit to BlueNAP highlighted Curaçao’s telecommunications and digital infrastructure, while Aqualectra provided the delegation with insight into the island’s utility sector. The stops at Pyrmont and Marshe Rondó offered additional perspectives on development and economic activity in Curaçao.

According to CINEX, the Investment Tour was intended not only to showcase existing projects but also to create connections between Curaçao and government representatives from elsewhere in the Caribbean.

The agency said it believes the visit could mark the beginning of broader cooperation with neighboring Caribbean countries and provide a foundation for building on the relationships established during the summit.

CINEX also thanked the Government of Curaçao for entrusting the organization with presenting the island and its investment potential to the regional delegation.

The Investment Tour formed part of the activities surrounding the Caribbean United in Excellence Summit, which brought Caribbean leaders and government representatives to Curaçao for discussions aimed at strengthening regional ties and cooperation.
