WILLEMSTAD – The Brievengat Neighborhood Center (Kas di Bario Brievengat) has introduced a temporary adjustment to its customer service system, combining walk-in services with appointments in an effort to improve service delivery.
The new arrangement took effect on June 15, 2026, and establishes specific days for walk-in visits and appointment-based services.
Under the revised system, residents can visit the center without an appointment on Mondays. During these walk-in hours, applications can be submitted from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and again from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. General information and appointment scheduling services are available from 8:00 a.m. to noon and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, the center will primarily serve clients with scheduled appointments. Individuals who already have appointments can submit their applications between 8:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and again from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. General information and appointment scheduling services will remain available from 8:00 a.m. to noon and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The center emphasized that flexibility will continue to be exercised in urgent cases, even on appointment-only days.
Brievengat Neighborhood Center will remain closed to the public on Fridays.
Management thanked residents for their understanding and cooperation as the temporary customer service system is implemented.
