WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Social Development, Labour and Welfare (SOAW) has announced that Kas di Bario Brievengat will temporarily operate from the Brievengat Community Center (Buurtcentrum Brievengat) while its regular building undergoes renovations.

According to the ministry, all regular Kas di Bario services will remain available at the temporary location, ensuring that residents can continue receiving assistance during the renovation period.
The ministry emphasized that the relocation will not affect the existing opening hours or appointment arrangements.
On Mondays, the office will accept walk-in visitors without an appointment from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
From Tuesday through Thursday, services will be available by appointment only, during the same hours: 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The office will remain closed to the public on Fridays.
Residents who need additional information or wish to contact Kas di Bario Brievengat can call 724-5252, send a WhatsApp message to 563-7629, or email kdb.brievengat@gobiernu.cw.
SOAW explained that the relocation is necessary to allow renovation work to take place at the office's regular premises on Kaya John Monsanto.
The ministry has not announced a specific date for the completion of the renovations or the reopening of the original location.
Residents will be informed once Kas di Bario Brievengat is ready to resume operations at Kaya John Monsanto.
SOAW thanked the public for its understanding and apologized for any inconvenience caused by the temporary relocation.
The ministry encourages residents who depend on the community office's services to take note of the new location and continue using the established appointment procedures during the renovation period.
